Resource Development Analyst
The primary responsibilities of the Resource Development Analyst will encompass liaising with the Development Director to analyze current development strategies, including fundraising events, direct appeals, donor acquisition, donor acknowledgement, planned giving and corporate partnerships, and to ensure ACCESS meets or exceeds its fundraising goals. Additionally, this position will assist with the development and implementation of a strategic development plan. The Peer Support Specialist – Support Services for Veteran and Families (SSVF) works directly with Veterans and their families in applying to receive services through ACCESS with short-term and long-term solutions. This position works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team that assists participants in navigating through complex resources and processes to obtain/sustain housing. A Peer Support Specialist -SSVF works to engage the participant in the spheres of being independent by working through barriers that may keep them from achieving their own definition of self-sufficiency. The Oregon Housing Community Services (OHCS) Program Support Specialist is a temporary position responsible for providing support to program staff within the OHCS program. Cooking Skills Educator
The Cooking Skills Educator plans, executes and evaluates the Cooking Skills program at ACCESS. This program includes cooking demonstrations, individual classes, and six-week course called Cooking Matters which focuses on improving cooking skills with people living in poverty. The Cooking Skills Educator trains and oversees volunteer educators who teach cooking skills demonstrations and classes at local community sites.
