Free Food Boxes Available for Low Income Seniors

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program is a supplemental food program established by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to serve low-income seniors 60-years-old and older. The monthly 30-pound food boxes may contain cereal, non-fat dry milk, evaporated milk, juice, rice, pasta, peanut butter, dry beans, canned meat, canned fruit and vegetables.

ACCESS administers this program in Jackson County and is currently accepting new applicants. Distribution locations are set up around the valley on the first and second week of each month. To get signed up or for more information, email or call 541-774-4321.
