Jackson County OR – ACCESS, the Community Action Agency of Jackson County, appoints Pamela Norr as the new Executive Director.
Pamela joins ACCESS with over 27 years of nonprofit agency and hospital leadership experience, has served at Central Oregon Council On Aging, Oregon Rural Healthcare Quality Network, and Fanconi Anemia Research Fund as well as multiple years in community-based organizations that serve seniors and those in need.
A graduate of the University of Oregon, her expertise strongly rooted in mission-based servant leadership, strategic planning, marketing/communications and innovative and collaborative team leadership, Pamela will have a measurable impact in the pursuit to empower and strengthen individuals on the path out of poverty.
When asked why she decided to take the position at ACCESS, Norr states, “The mission of the organization is something I am passionate about. I am impressed by the strong team I met, the passion of the Board members, and the amazing community support for those served. As the Community Action Agency of Jackson County, ACCESS has been helping Jackson County residents break the cycle of poverty since 1976. With a focus on education, ACCESS helps low-income families and seniors through economic crisis by guiding them through changes in habits to help them become self-sustaining.
