The Continuum of Care/Homeless Prevention Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and leading the Continuum of Care (CoC), which is the primary system for providing homeless services in the county. The Continuum of Care/Homeless Prevention Coordinator will possess strong verbal and writing skills that will enable clear and effective communication with CoC members, staff and stakeholders. The Continuum of Care/Homeless Prevention Coordinator will have working knowledge of HUD regulations as they pertain to homeless services and programs, and be able to interpret and implement the regulations to ensure ongoing program compliance. The Continuum of Care/Homeless Prevention Coordinator will have working knowledge of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), be able to recognize potential issues and efficiencies, and implement changes and updates to the HMIS as appropriate. This position will report directly to the ACCESS Executive Director and the CoC Advisory Board.

The Outreach Specialist for Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)’s focus is to locate and engage homeless Veterans and their families who may be eligible for rental housing assistance. This position works collaboratively with a multi disciplinary team in navigating through complex resources and processes. This position will conduct outreach by making direct contact to potential eligible Veterans and their families by providing information about both housing opportunities and other services in the community. This position will work within an office environment as well as frequent travel within Jackson County.

The Support Services Program Director is a member of the ACCESS senior management team, with direct responsibility for programs serving Veterans, low income families, senior citizens and people with disabilities. The position manages a team of twenty employees and oversees a budget of approximately six million.
